Our History & Background
FORUM FOR ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT (FED) is registered under the Society Act, 1860, Government of Odisha on 15/04/2019. We are registered with NITI Aayog (DARPAN) and UDYAM, and empanelled with the DC(MSME), Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India as a Technical Agency for the SFURTI Cluster schemes.
FED was established with the vision of accelerating industrial growth and fostering self-employment among youth, particularly in rural and semi-urban districts of Odisha. As per CMIE data, nearly 60% of the labor force are neither working nor seeking work. In the face of this critical challenge, FED has been making concerted efforts to motivate the youth and provide them with handholding support to set up their own enterprises.
Our team consists of retired senior government officers, technocrats, economists, motivators, mentors, and management consultants who bring expertise in Credit flow, Vendor Development, Marketing, HR, QC, EXIM, and Cluster infrastructure.

Our Mission
To motivate and train the youth of different categories of society, providing handholding support and techno-managerial consultancy to setup and run micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Core Objectives
MSME Promotion
Engage in active promotion, counseling, and problem-solving for MSMEs, SHGs, and traditional artisans.
Techno-Managerial Guidance
Render specialized consultancy services to existing and prospective entrepreneurs for setting up and running units smoothly.
Capacity Building (MDPs & SDPs)
Conduct need-based Management Development Programmes (MDPs) on HR, Credit, Marketing, exports, and project management.
SFURTI Cluster Implementation
Function as a Technical Agency to establish cluster infrastructures, enabling local artisans to leverage modern packaging and tech.
